We created the 2009 Media Arts Awards website for Sheridan College. The site runs off of wordpress which is the same software we run our site on! We had the site designed and functional in a week before we moved it over to their servers.

For the first time at Sheridan the students can submit their film online! We created a system that sends the submission details straight to the editors. The editors then pick up the uncompressed films right off the server saving time and keeping things organized. Functionality and style come together nicely with the site.

The sites back-end allows other students with little or no knowledge of web design can update and modify the content of each post and page. We will also stream the show over the internet on the night of the show and allow users who are watching to chat with each other in real time. Touch of Grey can easily create sites with a completely unique look with the same fast and flexible functionality.

The United Way Film Project is a project that includes the students and faculty of Appleby College, Touch of Grey Productions, the Willis Family and the United Way of Oakville. A website was created by Touch of Grey Productions to monitor the projects status and share the films with Oakville.

We created the Touch of Grey Productions website ourselves. We created the site using WordPress, allowing us to deploy the site within two weeks and giving us an incredible amount of flexibility, functionality, security and speed! Best of all, it is ready for the future!

The ease and options when it comes to updating forced us to choose WordPress. The instant ability to have comments on every post, a user membership system, and generated RSS 2.0 feeds on every post, category, archive and comment makes the Touch of Grey site one that you can connect to in almost any form.

We incorporated Quicktime Streaming into the site so that when viewing bandwidth intensive content it would not be necessary to wait for the content to download to your computer. Streaming is an excellent option for everyone because you do not have to save a local copy on your computer saving everyone some space.
