UW Film Project 2009

Thursday, April 23rd, 2009

Project Status: Pre-Production

Format: HD Video

Genre: Mini-Docs

Description: Each year the high school students of Appleby College team up with the United way of Oakville and Touch of Grey Productions to do something great for the community. In the past, students have created five-minute documentaries that highlight agencies that are funded by the United Way of Oakville. This year we are doing something different to allow ourselves more creative control and a larger appeal. We are casting a host that will appear in both of this year’s films. The host’s role will be to link the two films together and provide an anchor for the audience as they watch. The films are screened at various locations throughout Oakville including many corporate venues. They will also be available on the United Way of Oakville and Touch of Grey Productions website.

With 3 cups compelling statistics, 3 cups stunning anecdotes, heaping globs of interviews with experts including Dr. Colin T.
